  18. <p>     Most celebrated intellectuals would sneer at the prospect of
  19. a professional collaboration with someone who has amassed a
  20. small fortune hawking cheap cosmetics. Imagine The Christie
  21. Brinkley Story as Told to William F. Buckley. Egghead, antifemi
  22. nist and bon vivant CAMILLE PAGLIA, however, has always prided
  23. herself on a more enlightened perspective. The incendiary academic
  24. has teamed up with LAUREN HUTTON (the supermodel older than
  25. Kate Moss by three decades) to make a short documentary that,
  26. according to Paglia, deals with "sex roles and the condition
  27. of humanity." In the film, Hutton and a Gaultier-clad Camille
  28. tackle these lofty issues while seated at a banquet table, a
  29. snipe at feminists who, complains Paglia, are obsessed "with
  30. food and anorexia." Hutton, a devoted adherent of Paglia's
  31. gender politics, has also asked the author to contribute to
  32. a book she's developing on the social history of fashion.
